Pinkalicious Party

She had been asking for a "Pink Party" so the Pinkalicious theme was perfect. We have been reading the Pinkalicious book series for about a month so that is what we went with for her party theme. It was a lot of fun. we had all kinds of pink treats. We all wore pink and even colored the birthday girls hair pink. She also got a jump house castle for the birthday party which was too fun for everyone including big kids (us). She had such a great time with all her friends it was a great turnout. We also played pin the cherry on the cupcake and watched a video of her that I made. She opened a ton of gifts and then sang Happy Birthday to her while she blew out her candle on top of her giant cupcake cake. She was all smiles the whole day. Which is what is all about!

11-12-10 Birthday Girl gets her ears peirced!

Our sweet girls actual birthday we made her a special breakfast opened a few presents then we headed to the mall for a special day. Ella has been talking about getting her ears peirced for a few months and although I knew she didn't know that it meant pain, I could tell she was ready. Playing with clip ons all the time and always intrested in putting my earings on. So with daddy's permission we did it. I kept asking her if she wanted to change her mind, reminding her it was going to hurt. But, she practically jumped in the chair and picked out the ones she wanted. It was pretty great to have them do both ears at the same time cause she did cry once they were peirced. But, within a minute or so they gave her a sucker and she was good. It was a big day for her and I am still so proud that she toughed it out. That night we went to dinner at Mac Shack and home for another BIG gift from Yaya and Papa and cake pops. Perfect day for her big 3rd birthday.

Bye Maxley Court

As the 5 of us drove out of the cul de sac for the last time October 30, 2010 I had to take this picture. The first time we drove down this street it was just Tim and I excited to buy our first home. Now 8 yrs later we have a monkey and our babies. So good bye Maxley Court, hello _________? Walking out in faith the our next home brings us as many cool memories as this place did.

Our Girl is 3! or "Free"

Three very short years ago I looked at my tiny little girl still in shock I had a daughter. It seemed like God himself looked at me and put her in my arms. Seriously although I told myself I wanted another boy I couldn't feel more excited I was having a baby girl. And honestly didn't believe it until I saw her. Someone to do girl things with and paint her nails, do her hair and be best friends with when she got older. Now that it's been 3 years this girl has made me smile so much with her personality. She is so much like me it is scary. Not to mention her inner and outer beauty. This girl already knows how to work her daddy. and mom too. She gets away with a few things here and there because we have just faced it she is sometimes too cute for time out. Well, baby you are our dream come true and our family would be boring with out you in it. Thanks for be you! So loving, caring sweet, tough, artsy, confident, smarty pants. Love that tootie tut girl.

MOOBS & MOOBIES

So little ones say the funniest things sometimes. But, this one is worthy of it's very own BLOG post. Holding Ella the other night she pulls down my shirt points inside and says "Those are MOOBS" OH MY GOD, I couldn't stop laughing...then I ask her again and she said "Doose are your MOOBIES" I am laughing hysterical then ask her again in front of Tim she repeats again then pats my MOOBIES and says "they are your BONGO DRUMS" Still laughing then she says "Dey are called BA-NOCK-A-BOOBS" (Sounds kinda like BINOCULARS) This was just a tummy hurt kinda laugh our family had thanks to Ella and her sillyness. I LOVE THAT FUNNY GIRL.

Moving!!!

After 8 years 2 months at Maxley Court the McGeary's are moving!!! Our first home has sooo many memories. A week after we moved in we got our Monkey and then a few years later I found myself painting a blue nursey, making laps around the living room and hall as I started my labor with Noah. Then bringing both our babies home from the hospital. Our family has grown and changed so much within these walls. And i know its going to be bitter sweet not living here anymore but, time to move on and make some more memories in a different place. God is good and has listened to so many prayers for our family. Even if they are not answered the way I like, I am so thankful for where the path He leads us. So in a few days we'll be off to live at mom and dads for a little bit till it is time to move in to our new place we will call "home". Exciting stuff...

New family pics at Angel Park

When Roger and Jan visit the first week of September we have been having him do our family pictures. He does such a great job and since we don't get out for professional family pics we make this our yearly picture. Kids are still hard to get to sit still and pose but, since we do it at one of their favorite parks to play. it works great to bribe them with taking pics first then letting them play. I think they turned out great. We got out there a little late so we were trying to hurry before it got dark out. There are still a few Roger is touching up
