Although we were hoping to be in our new home for the holidays we has a spectacular holiday season with all our family and friends. Robin and Chris came to town and the four of us got to hang out. We had some good fun and a mini staycation at the Suncoast. Was a great to see them and spend time with them. Christmas Eve we traditionally spend with family go to church and have dinner at mom and dads, get ready for Santa and let the kids open up a gift. As usualy I was the first to wake up Christmas morning and just waited for the kids to come out of their room and see what Santa had left under the tree. They were so cute, bright eyes and Big smiles. It really is a feeling as a parent that you can't describe. Noah got a new drum set and Ella a pink motorcycle. Then we had a gigantic breakfast mom made and watched the kids open gifts for hours. They really got soooo much again this year. I am grateful that they are not yet spoiled. It was a great day. i really don't remember them making a peep all day unless they needed a new toy opened or batteries. They were so into all their new toys I hadn't heard from them for days. Shamika and the twins came over to exchange gifts and then later the all the other friends and family came over for a big dinner and Dirty Santa game. This was the second year we played and it was a blast. So happy Robin and Chris got to play this year too. The stealing, gag gifts, large undies, and dad not rolling doubles and missing the football game was all hilarious. We are truly blessed to have been able to share another great holiday as a big, happy sometimes crazy family. I wouldn't trade any of them for anything even my favorite sis in law Lisa and her crazy game playing. Haha. Family is what keeps us going.
